As a member of the Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia Delegation I took a trip with People to People Student Ambassadors in June and July 2000.  Following  are pictures taken in Wales where I had a home stay:

We spent a total of three days in Wales.  We saw a lot of the historical sites including:

Splitting slate for roofing tiles

Slate being shaped and sized

The hills are steep & filled with slate
